A&O Wraps Up Successful Festival Season
November 21st, 2016
The specially trained A&O mounted patrol festival units have concluded another successful season. With the safe winding up of Coachella I, Coachella II, Stagecoach, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, Pemberton, Outside Lands, Imagine, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, and Desert Trip, troopers are beginning planning for the 2017 season.
The A&O mounted patrol spanned the US and Canada to work North America’s largest music festivals. These festivals have featured the world’s top musical acts as well as an array of art installations, comedians, cinema, midway and water rides, craft breweries, gourmet festival food, and other entertainment. A&O helps assure fans of a pleasant and comfortable festival experience. Many fans have their favorite A&O Trooper and horse and watch for them every year.
Coachella is one of several signature events in California; Stagecoach offers the top country acts and legends; Bonnaroo has become a giant in outdoor festivals; and Electric Forest electrifies its stunning forest setting while featuring top EDM entertainers. We had a great ride for the third year at Pemberton in Canada and continue to love our annual duties at Outside Lands and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in the stunning Golden Gate Park. We are honored to have added Imagine at Atlanta Motor Speedway and the historic Desert Trip in California.
We are deep into planning a full schedule in 2017 and recruiting great riders is our number one priority. Plus, we have several year-round openings at The Woodlands near Houston. And, we have two amphitheaters to staff on a periodic and ongoing basis, Bethel Woods Pavilion in Upstate New York and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas.
